Back to where my interest in Family History started!!!

Well this year brings the 90th birthday of my Great Auntie Lily, so I plan on spending the next month or so working on the Northern Ireland branch of the tree (CANNING and MORNIN families).  This is the branch that sparked my interest in Family History in 1978 when my Granddad Lily’s brother William gave me my first family tree on the MORNINs his mother’s family.

I have gathered lots of data on this family in the last few years that I will update the tree with, along with photographs when available.  The MORNIN family has spread across the world and today descendants of them can be found in New Zealand and the USA and no doubt many other countries too.  The CANNING family however is much different, finding out about this branch has been very difficult and I have very little information so far.

A little Christmas post to end the year

Just a little post with an old Christmas photo.  This is me, Julia Claire MUIRHEAD (nee BEVIS) and my Mum, Rosemary BEVIS (nee CANNING) on my First Christmas in 1970.  Maybe I can get her to have a new photo taken this Christmas Day to add later.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!
